Eero Aarnio has always been drawn to circular forms and is celebrated for his designs “without edges.” The Tomato Chair, created in 1971, is one of the most iconic examples of this philosophy. Composed of three intersecting circles, it forms a sculptural seat with armrests, one of which extends upward to create a comfortable backrest.
